Understanding Box Strength
Not all cardboard is equal. The strength of a corrugated box depends on the flute size, the number of walls and the weight of the liners. In simple terms:
- E-flute (about 1.5 mm): thin and smooth, great for print and light products.
- B-flute (about 3 mm): a good all-rounder for shipping everyday goods.
- C-flute (about 4 mm): more cushioning and stacking strength.
- BC double wall (about 7 mm): very strong for heavy items, moving and storage.

Plain, Logo or Full Colour?
